I live in Camberley, I’ve been an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) for five years, and I am a franchisee for BSM, the oldest driving school in Britain. In common with all instructors, I am DBS checked, so that you can be assured that you, or your teenager, will be safe during their lessons.
I teach in two-hour blocks, because the warm-up and cool-down periods in one-hour lessons make them far less useful. My role generally is to teach the practical side of driving, but I can also help with the theory test.
After your test, you may want to take Pass Plus; this will usually reduce your insurance, and it covers town centre driving, country driving, night time driving, bad weather driving, dual carriageways and motorways. The minimum time is one hour for each module, so six hours in total, but I would expect it to over-run to around eight hours. For this I charge a fixed rate of £150
I can also offer motorway lessons, which would be the same hourly rate as your normal lessons.
